CAS Activity Reflection
This quarter CAS activity we wrote an article of the CAS activities or charity of specific grades. The purpose of our activity is to emphasize the activities that other grades have done to get recognition for what they’ve done for charity. My group’s job is to write an article the grade 4-5 did to help the Philippines. As I interview and observe what they’ve done I think is a great experience for a grade 4 or 5 to accomplish a charity for the Philippines. Most of them said they’re happy to accomplish such thing, I would feel the same thing too. It just feels good when we do good things especially helping in need. Even there is something more could be done, however, with the young experience from grade 4 and 5 it is still a great accomplishment to help people in need. From their achievement as young generation (grade 4-5) I perceive that no matter how young you are we can contribute and help people, because age doesn’t matter as long we are committed to help each other as human. The most important lesson from this CAS activity would understand the people that are in need, even just the smallest or simplest thing could contribute as a huge impact to the people. Personally this CAS activities means to share, support, and inspire other people. As we wrote an article we share the activities, show support for the Philippines by giving evidence of what they did, and to inspire people to do the same thing. The most values I learnt from the activity would be the same for what I perceive and what it means to me. But the most values would be an inspiration to others. It is great to inspire people to help people as what the grade 4-5 a very young people did to the community of the Philippines. Individually, this CAS activity gives me another experience of perceiving a young generation CAS activity, as I learnt values from them. It benefits other people as they could be inspired by the charity and the works they’ve been doing to support and of course it benefits to the community of the Philippines as they get they accept the charity. This charity would improve the environment of the Philippines from the money they got, since it would be useful to rebuild the environment such as buildings, houses, and more. This CAS activity increases my awareness towards other people and the environment. As I do this activity I realize that we are equal even we’re not in the same country or region, people still need help because we’re still human being and God’s creation. God help all people and we should also did the same actions towards other people. To broaden my awareness I could create more articles that is spread worldwide to increase the amount of people inspired by helping people. This would broaden my awareness as I spread the news to the people.
