Process Journal 2
In this process I made the second draft of my 2D design in an A4 paper. The first draft was in 'Process Journal 1' which is a modern complex style, in my second 2D draft design it would be simple modern. I would take an example from my current dad's office which is simple modern. It is a building shape vertical rectangle, inside are division rooms that are divided neatly. My second design will be similar as the current design but bigger measurement, more rooms, and spaces for a lot of workers. My design will be horizontal rectangle instead of vertical rectangle, this would also be similar to the design I'm inspired which I posted it on my summer report.
Second 2D draft design (simple modern)
Both images shows the second draft of my design; first floor, second floor (top image), and third floor (bottom image). As you can see there are more rooms for workers from floor 1 - 3, especially on the second floor which provides a big horizontal rectangle room which fits many workers and left some spaces too. However, the restrooms or toilet are limited and they are quite small, but as I investigate from my dad's current office toilet wasn't a big deal. They have small toilets and not much (at least one per floor) and it doesn't cause a lot of problem. So I didn't make a lot of improvement towards the toilet. Another major improvement would be meeting room (floor 1 and 3) which is bigger that can fit big desk for a bigger group of meeting.
Evaluation
As I said before from process journal 1, I would make another survey for my client to choose my design from my draft. But Pak Victor said it is not necessary to do another survey. So instead I would evaluate and make judgement from both design that fits the design specification and client needs.
