So basically this quarter in DT we're trying to make a preserve food which is useful for emergency events. Based from my class's survey the emergency event would be in a late night snack or breakfast, the food should also contains around 450 kkal. There are research we need to get through because its important for us to know what preserved food look like (samples, how it is served, costs, and more. After the research we should came out with a creative idea of preserving food. This preserved food we made will be stored based on the packaging method of the food for a week, than the next week we will taste the food if there's any changes. To get a 6/6 there should be no changes because a preserve food is a food where it can long last when we store it in a right way and eat it in any emergency event. The preserve food I make is strawberry es mambo, it is an ice where I freeze sliced strawberry with a milk. It is served cold and I store it in freezer.

Reflection
So after a week, the class and Ibu Lisa tasted my food and there are no changes so I got 6/6. I'm satisfied ad happy with the result that my food have no changes, so it is a success for me. I think I could improve in my cooking process to follow my exact plan, because I wasn't be careful and turns out I add different ingredients from my plan. But luckily my friend and teacher reminded me.
This relates to Health and social education because we learn about health which includes calories in food. This tells us about calories we need each day for being healthy so basically we've been educated about health in food so we have amount of energy needed per day by consuming calories. We also tested some preserved food we made, and it taught us if its still taste good or no changes in a week that indicates healthy food. While if there's changes sometimes it indicates its not healthy. So this subject really educate about health through foods to me.
