Mathematics
One of our biggest assessment in math quarter 2 would be tide modeling. It's not like a usual math assessment, this time we can bring home the assessment to do it. It's quite a complicated assessment because we use an software to draw the tide model and using excel for the equation. We should also add an interpretation real life issue, improvement, reliability of the chosen method, and more.

Reflection
Score 6/8, 4/6, 4/6
I choose this as my best work even though my score wasn’t very satisfying but I’m proud for completing this assessment. This assessment is a very challenging one and stressful, because we need to think critically to get the answer. I could’ve improve by getting the percentage closer to 0% (accurate) and being more specific on my reflection which consist of clearer visual interpretation on the real life problem using tidal waves
Holistic Learning:
From Q2 math the subjects that are related to this assignment would be physics and English. Since we learn about tidal waves, it’s similar to physics. In physics we also use tidal wave graph to measure particular levels of waves. It uses the same graph with math but different purpose. In English since in this project we also have to write tons of analysis and reflection, we need to consider our grammar. It affects one of the criteria as it improve our analysis and reflection to have a stronger meaning. This surely can be related to real world issue to waves. People use this method to measure tidal of waves, for example a sailor would use this method to make sure the wave level is not high, if it’s high he/she can manage the time to sail another time.
This subject develops my understanding of global interaction and logic. In developing global interaction I developed by relating this project to real life problem which I mentioned in previous paragraph. I realized from doing this assignment I expand the interaction that can be use globally through this learning. Waves occurs in the ocean, therefore using this method I could measure tidal waves. I developed my logic by learning some equations and formulas used to do this project. I developed the mastery of skills of research, thinking, and self management. In developing my research, I use the information from the web to know some relation with real life which is part of the project. In doing this project we need to think critically as we answer logical questions and analysis of the graph. Self management occurs as we should reflect to our work after finishing it. The attitude I developed in doing this project would be confidence, as I need to be confident towards my modification of the graph to have a fit percentage. The AOI related to this subject would be environment, as tidal waves are part of environment, therefore we are expanding our thoughts towards the environment.
In conclusion, this project is very challenging as they are lots of aspects; graphs, percentages, analysis, real life problem and reflection. We need to work really hard in every step of the assignment and it needs a very detail work. It’s a good experience though to do this kind of assignment in math class.
