Journal Questions
1. What’s my original? Do I follow my plan?
2. Refer to Design specifications, ACCESS FM, Time, Innovation (Modernize the traditional) and copyright (when appropriate), What have/have not covered? How should I continue working on it?
3. Do I need to make changes to my plan? What’s next?
Today I started my project on creating the toys with woods. I bought my materials according to my plan but I didn't know that sanding paper and foundation would not be provided so it's a modification I should do for next week. One of my friend is going to buy the sanding paper and I ask some. During the creating process I should have use the safety such gloves, masks, and aprons but it seems it's not necessary since all my friends didn't wear it. I didn't have the receipt of the materials I bought but I still have the labels of the cost which in total cost for Rp. 215,000, less than Rp. 300,000. In this two periods I've finish creating the square and there is some modification of the measurement. The area of the square should be 18.9cm x 18.9cm but I change it into 21cm x 21cm because I got feedback from my friends that 18.9cm x 18.9cm is too small. I should continue working on the animal shape which is the major part of the innovation (modernize traditional). I did manage my time well in doing my first process, it is based on the planning.

Today I started my process on creating the animal faces, it's hard from what I expected and I didn't get a lot of work done today. I've done doing only one face of lion and there's still 8 left. I didn't get a lot of work done because the tools are limited, most of them are broken so I'm forced to use a cutter which took more time to cut it. So I didn't follow my plan, I didn't follow the time showed on my plan, because I felt like I need more time in doing 9 faces of animal. Hopefully with more tools I could use time more efficiently and I could use activity time and/or study hall to come and do my work. Well I think I should work on cutting the animal faces accurately and as neat as possible, I did cut it slowly and carefully to have a good result. Using sanding paper would be necessary since it would make the surface neat. What I have not covered would be the safety this also applies to the gameboard because the lion face and the gameboard still have a sharp edge which didn't fulfill the requirement of safety. I should start to pay attention on it and make it not sharp. The changes I need to do on my plan would be changing the amount of time in creating the faces, maybe I need extra 30 minutes max so in total 120 minutes max.
